About HomeFinder
Information and early-stage estimates only — not professional advice. Always confirm with a qualified architect and a builder before making any decisions.
HomeFinder is a free tool that aggregates public planning data for addresses across Greater London. It is built and operated by the team at l’Atelier, a London-based residential design practice.
What this tool does
Enter any address in Greater London and we will show you:
- Planning constraints (conservation areas, Article 4 directions, listed building status, flood zones, green belt, TPOs, and more) from planning.data.gov.uk
- Nearby decided planning applications from the Planning London Datahub (GLA)
- Links to relevant guidance and your local planning authority
What this tool does not do
HomeFinder does not tell you what you can or cannot build. It does not provide planning advice, architectural advice, or any site-specific recommendation. It is a factual information service only.
Data sources
- planning.data.gov.uk (DLUHC) — planning constraints
- Planning London Datahub (GLA) — decided planning applications
- OpenStreetMap — base mapping
Data may not be complete or up to date. Always verify with the relevant local planning authority.
